This park is known as the Cascine di Tavola and its foundation goes back to the time of Lorenzo the Magnificent of the Medici Family.

The experience begins with the exploration of this green lug which is closely related to the Villa Ambra in Poggio a Caiano.
This park in fact was conceived to support the economica indepence of the Medicean Villa.
After exploring the park, visitors will cross the bridge connecting it to the Medicean Villa of Poggio a Caiano, an absolute masterpiece of Renaissance Architecture. This experience includes the visit of this monumental Villa and its historical garden.

The Medicean Villa in Poggio a Caiano (and all State Museums) is closed on Mondays, as well as December 25th, January 1st and May 1st.
